Staying in touch
How do I find out what my child did today?
Through the Brightwheel app. Parents receive daily reports covering what their child did through the day, and supply requests come through the same app. We also complete periodic observations to confirm your child is meeting their milestones, and we want to hear about the new things your child is doing at home so the partnership works in both directions.
Good to know
Policies parents ask about
When should I keep my child home?
Keep your child at home for the duration of any illness. It speeds their healing and it keeps the other children from getting sick. When your child is ready to come back, we appreciate a note from their doctor indicating they are free from contagions.
Can you work around my child's dietary restrictions?
Yes. We understand many children have dietary restrictions due to allergies, religious beliefs or personal preferences. Tell us beforehand what you want limited or excluded and we will make sure nothing on that list is served to your child.
What is Brightwheel and do I have to use it?
Brightwheel is the app we use for daily communication. Parents receive daily reports on what their child did through the day, and supply requests come through it too. It is how you see the day you were not there for.
Are you open on holidays?
We are open year round except for eleven holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If a holiday falls on a weekend it is observed on the preceding Friday or the following Monday. There are no refunds, credits or make up days for holidays.
How do I get the Parent Handbook?
You receive it with your enrollment packet, and we ask that you read through it before your child's first day. If you need another copy, call the office at 817-652-1100.
How do I set up a tour?
Call 817-652-1100 or use our contact form. We have an open door policy for tours during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and we highly recommend scheduling in advance so a dedicated staff member is free to walk you through and address your questions.
